Sorry I haven't updated in a while, but his visit was a little underwhelming, to be honest. Since he wasn't my biological father, I didn't have a whole lot invested in it - and it seemed like both my mom and dad were a little awkward about it. I guess that should be expected, but there just were a lot of lulls in conversation where they just didn't have much to say to each other. Weird huh? It was nice to find someone online and then be able to meet them in person, but I didn't have much connection with him. Maybe next time find relative? Anyway, I'm focusing on dieting so I can fit into my swimsuit this summer. Came across this article about lap bands and type 2 diabetes that I liked. Enjoy.
